Insulating materials such as plastic film, paper and fabric build up charge through friction, unwinding from the reel and separating from rollers, and this charge does not dissipate on its own. An antistatic bar balances the surface charge with the positive and negative ions it generates at its emitter pins, leaving the material neutral.
Use a static meter to determine the level and polarity (+/−) of the static charge on the surface.

IN THE FIELD
With their slim profile and the screw channel on the back, our antistatic bars mount easily even in tight gaps on the machine. Standard bars work at up to 4 cm from the material; air-assisted models extend this distance to up to 50 cm.

Digital measuring device that detects the static charge and its polarity (+/-) on insulating materials such as plastic, paper and fabric. 0–200 kV measuring range and alarm output.
Web cleaner that removes dust from the material surface before printing using ionizing bars, compressed air and an extraction system. Available in single-sided and double-sided models.
Static charging bar with a fully insulated body, operating at 20–100 kV DC. For making two surfaces adhere without trapped air, or for temporary adhesion (pinning) such as IML labels.
Compact AC high-voltage power supply designed for ion generation, powering capacitive and inductive antistatic bars, nozzles and the antistatic air gun.
Exproof brush (ATEX certification in progress) designed for areas at risk of fire and explosion that needs no electricity: its grounded carbon fiber bristles neutralize static electricity on flat materials.
