Statically charged surfaces attract dust from the air; simply wiping or blowing does not remove the dust for good. Our dust removal systems first eliminate the static charge that holds the dust in place, and then separate the dust from the surface.

Which product, and when?

Product How does it work? Where is it used?
Web cleaner Ionizing bars eliminate the static charge, compressed air lifts the dust off the surface and vacuum extraction carries it away Material surfaces before printing, especially in the printing and plastics industries; single-sided or double-sided
Dust roller (dust cleaning roller) Surface dust pick-up Glass, acrylic sheet and flat surfaces without recesses or protrusions

Thanks to their sigma profile, web cleaner systems are easy to mount on the machine; the extracted dust can be filtered or ducted outside the plant.

Frequently asked questions

Why is static electricity eliminated first in dust removal? Static charge is the force that binds dust to the surface. If you clean without removing the charge, the dust soon clings to the surface again; that is why ionizing bars are the first step of cleaning in web cleaner systems.

Single-sided or double-sided? Choose a single-sided or a double-sided model depending on whether only one side or both sides of the material need to be cleaned.
