In addition to static electricity equipment, Statikcell manufactures other product groups needed on production lines in-house. Below you can find a brief overview of what these product groups are and where they are used in production. Models and technical details are determined according to the application.

Weighing: load cells, indicators, converters and J-boxes

Industrial weighing systems are used to measure the weight of raw materials, intermediate products, finished products and packaging. Filling, dosing, tank and silo weighing and platform weighing are typical applications of these systems. Accurate weighing keeps recipes and fill quantities consistent. A weighing system usually consists of the following components:

  • Load cell: Converts the force acting on it, in other words the weight, into an electrical signal. It is the sensor of the weighing system.
  • Indicator: Processes the signal from the load cell and shows the weight on a display.
  • Converter: Converts the load cell signal into a different type of signal that machines and control systems can read.
  • J-box (junction box): Combines the signals of several load cells at a single point. It is used in applications where the load is distributed over several points, such as tanks, silos or platforms.

Tension control

With materials processed from reel to reel, such as film, paper, foil and fabric, the material must travel along the line at a constant tension. If the tension is too high, the material stretches, thins or breaks; if it is too low, the material wrinkles, the winding becomes loose and print registration can drift. Because the reel diameter changes continuously during unwinding and rewinding, the tension also changes by itself.

Tension control systems measure the material tension and adjust the brake, clutch or motor on the unwinding and rewinding units accordingly to keep the tension constant. Printing, laminating, coating, slitting and winding lines are the main applications. Constant tension reduces material waste and helps produce evenly wound reels.

Automation solutions

Automation allows production steps to be carried out automatically and repeatably by means of sensors, drives and control systems. Running machines in the required sequence and with the required settings, monitoring measurement data and detecting fault conditions early are the main benefits automation brings to production. We work with you to define the scope of the automation solution that meets your needs, based on your application.

Cleanroom products

A cleanroom is a production area in which the amount of airborne particles is kept under control. Cleanrooms are used in production where even a small particle can affect product quality, such as electronics and pharmaceuticals. Static electricity also matters in these environments: charged surfaces attract particles and can damage sensitive components. Cleanroom applications are also among the main uses of our ionizing blower.
